Mama’s Weeknight Roast

Mama’s Weeknight Roast

Ingredients:

  • 1 Ozark Valley Beef Company Wagyu Roast (approximately 3-4lbs.).
  • 1 can of cola/soda, preferably Coke (my favorite!) or Dr. Pepper.
  • 1 seasoning package of brown gravy or Lipton onion soup mix.

Directions

Remove thawed roast from refrigeration and allow approximately 1 hour to let the roast come to room temperature. Coat the interior of your crock pot with non-stick cooking spray. Place roast inside and sprinkle contents of seasoning package on top of roast. Pour soda over roast and cover. Cook on low for 6-8 hours (we don’t like ours well done so I tend to cook for only 6 hours). Your finished roast will fall apart nicely into buttery tender and delicious shredded Wagyu beef roast. Serve with mashed potatoes or your favorite side dish. Your family will love it!
